Model HD details

I designed this guitar after seeing so many players, especially women, struggling with full sizes dreadnaught guitars for rhythm accompaniment.  Nothing beats a dread for the bright top end, scooped midrange and strong bass that sits so well behind the voice, but they’re so wide, deep, long…big that they are quite uncomfortable to play seated (in the end causing rotator cuff injuries).  The model HD has  slightly wide waist for its overall size and I have designed a bracing modification to reinforce response on the lower strings.  This guitar has been around for a few years now and has proved very popular, especially amongst songwriters.  My medium 640mm scale suits a smaller player and handles dropped open tunings, recording really well.   It sounds good in spruce and rosewood, Australian acacia and WA hardwoods.
